Last weekend, I ventured upstate to Ithaca, New York, which is now home to both my alma mater and youngest brother, a sophomore at Ithaca College.
How divine it is to think my thoughts, love whom I desire, and strive for goals that, once attained, will satisfy me above all others. How marvelous it is to know that this combination of blood, brains, heart, body, and soul is sui generis.

Four days ago, my 90-year-old grandfather passed away. He was a gentleman, war hero, father of two, and grandparent to eight. He’s in a better place now. At least that’s what I’m told.
